Concert Music

I'm also an active composer in the concert world. I am incredibly excited to announce that I have been commissioned by The Merian Ensemble for a new chamber music piece, to be premiered in March 2026. Very grateful for the opportunity and cannot wait to hear my piece, “A Name Carved In Light”, brought to life by this talented ensemble.

My a cappella choral piece "Your Forest" was a semi-finalist in the 2013 Sorel Medallion Choral Composition Competition, and in 2008 my piece "We Are But Stars" was a quarter-finalist. In 2011 my orchestral tone poem "Wovoka's Dream" was premiered by one of my hometown orchestras, the Reno Pops Orchestra, as part of their "Triumph of the Human Spirit" concert.
